Orange Striped Silk Scarf

Our Peace silk scarves are a handmade artisan product, created in small batches, which means less waste. Each piece takes a week to produce excluding the harvesting and printing. It is called ‘Peace’ Silk as the fibre gets extracted from the empty cocoons, only after the metamorphosis of the moth is complete and they leave their habitat, thereby completing the chain of circular farming. We gather the yarn, spin by hand using a traditional hand spinning wheel. From there we hand carve wooden blocks to block print our scarves.Each piece is unique making this a luxury item with a soul.  Our scarves are strong and durable and last a lifetime. We produce in small batches, therefore no waste and the designs are timeless.

 Our artisans earn a fair wage and have a sense of belonging and a life filled with love, pride and dignity for their skilled work which brings the whole community together and benefits them all. We support the communities for example building tanks for water storage.
